06:50 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) received no orders as of the second day of the Paris air show, Truist reported in a note to investors Tuesday.
Meanwhile, rival Airbus received only one large order, a memorandum of understanding for 100 A321neo aircraft with an option for an additional 50 planes, Truist said.
That brings Airbus' total order volume for the show to 388, including 132 firm orders, the note said.
Airbus also received commitments from France and Spain to accelerate the purchase of A400M military transport planes, the note stated.
The report also noted a presentation by Germany's MTU AeroEngines, suggesting an "incrementally positive outlook" for the commercial aircraft aftermarket segment.
