05:51 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) has secured an order for 30 737-8 MAX jets from Macquarie AirFinance, an aircraft leasing affiliate of Australian financial conglomerate Macquarie, the companies said Tuesday.

The order increases Macquarie AirFinance's 737-8 MAX portfolio to 80 aircraft, the companies said.

The companies said the purchase was booked in July by an 'unidentified' customer on Boeing's ( BA ) Orders & Deliveries website.

Lessor orders for the 737 MAX now account for about a quarter of the airplane family's order book, they added.
