Boeing Signs Order for Nine 787 Dreamliners With Ethiopian Airlines

02:54 PM EST, 01/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) and Ethiopian Airlines signed an order for nine 787 Dreamliner airplanes, the companies said on Tuesday.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

The latest order builds on Ethiopian Airlines' earlier purchase of 11 737 MAX airplanes, the companies said.

Separately, Ethiopian Airlines said that the deliveries for the Dreamliner airplanes are scheduled between 2031 and 2033.
