Boeing Union Says Aircraft Maker Failing to 'Bargain in Good Faith'
Oct 16, 2025 7:55 AM

10:39 AM EDT, 10/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) is facing allegations from the IAM Union that it is failing to "bargain in good faith" with 3,200 union members who have been on strike since Aug. 4 at Boeing ( BA ) plants in the St. Louis area.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers said Thursday that it has filed an Unfair Labor Practice allegation with the National Labor Relations Board, accusing Boeing ( BA ) of rejecting "multiple union proposals without making any counter offers addressing member concerns."

The union said Boeing's ( BA ) actions are a "clear violation of its legal duty to negotiate in good faith under the National Labor Relations Act."

The union also said Boeing ( BA ) is "delaying critical aircraft deliveries to the US Air Force while the company fails in its attempt to hire replacement workers who lack the qualifications to build the world's most advanced military jets and weapons systems."

Boeing ( BA ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
