Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.58.

Revenue in the three months ended Sept. 30 fell to $1.67 billion from $1.71 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $1.62 billion.

Boise Cascade ( BCC ) shares rose 2.30% in after-hours trading.
