04:01 PM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bombardier (BBD-B.TO) on Wednesday said it plans to open a new service center at Fort Wayne International Airport in Indiana.
The 64,500 square-foot facility will accommodate up to six aircraft and provide a full suite of services, including both scheduled and emergency maintenance, avionics installations, modifications, and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support, the company said.
The project is the result of a collaboration between Bombardier, the State of Indiana, Fort Wayne International Airport, and the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, the company added.
The company said it also plans to invest in talent development and hiring to ensure consistent staffing at the new Fort Wayne site and across its wider network.
Bombardier's Class B shares closed up $1.33 to $191.30 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
