Brazilian miner Vale swaps head of iron ore unit

RIO DE JANEIRO, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian miner Vale

said on Tuesday that Marcelo Spinelli is leaving his

position as vice-president of iron ore solutions.

The firm added in a securities filing that Rogerio Nogueira,

Vale's current director of product and business development, was

appointed to fill the role on an interim basis starting Oct. 9.

Vale is one of the largest iron ore producers in the world.
