Brazil's JBS posts Q4 profit of $423.6 million

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Brazil-based JBS, the world's largest meat packer, posted a net profit of 2.412 billion reais ($423.57 million) in the final quarter of 2024, a significant increase from the around 83 million reais posted in the same period a year ago.

The company said adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization, a measure of operating income known as EBITDA, was 10.789 billion reais, higher than the 9.888 billion reais predicted by analysts.
