giant Petrobras lowered jet fuel prices for

distributors by around 9% in some key marketing areas starting

Sept. 1, data on the company's website showed on Monday.

Petrobras makes monthly tweaks to its jet fuel prices based

on factors including oil prices and exchange rates.
