Brenmiller Teams Up With Japanese Firm on Zero-Emission Heating

10:13 AM EDT, 06/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brenmiller Energy ( BNRG ) said Thursday it signed a nonbinding agreement with a Japanese engineering firm to explore deploying its thermal energy storage systems in Japan.

Financial terms were not provided.

The companies plan to work together on replacing fossil-fuel-based boilers with clean heating systems, focusing on industrial and utility markets.

The Japanese partner will help identify and develop projects, supporting both equipment sales and Heat-as-a-Service offerings, according to the company.

Shares of Brenmiller Energy ( BNRG ) were 1.7% higher in recent trading.
