07:50 AM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Renewable (BEP) said late Tuesday its Brookfield Renewable Partners ULC unit will issue 250 million Canadian dollars ($182.4 million) of fixed-to-fixed reset rate subordinated hybrid notes due Sept. 10, 2055.
The notes will bear a 5.373% annual interest rate and reset every five years beginning Sept. 10, 2030, at an annual rate equal to the five-year government of Canada yield, plus a 2.459% spread.
The company expects the issuance to close by Tuesday and plans to use the net proceeds to fund eligible green investment, among other things.
