01:29 PM EDT, 03/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Buenaventura Mining (BVN) on Monday said it secured the final operating permit needed to begin production at its Yumpag silver mine in Peru.

The company plans to begin production at 1,000 tons per day to achieve its 2024 production guidance of 6.5 million to 7.2 million silver ounces, it said.
