08:13 AM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Builders FirstSource ( BLDR ) said Thursday that it has appointed its chief financial officer, Peter Jackson, to succeed Dave Rush as the company's next chief executive officer, effective Nov. 6.

Rush, who is retiring after serving for 25 years at the company, will remain on its board and serve as a special advisor to ensure a smooth transition, the company said.

Additionally, Pete Beckmann would succeed Jackson as CFO.

Beckmann has worked for Builders FirstSource ( BLDR ) and its legacy companies since 1999, rising through the ranks of finance.
