04:23 PM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Burke Herbert Financial Services ( BHRB ) said late Wednesday that its shareholders and those of LINKBANCORP ( LNKB ) approved the merger of LINK with and into Burke Herbert at their respective special shareholder meetings.

Burke Herbert will be the continuing corporation following the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of Dec. 18, the company said.

The closing of the proposed merger is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, according to the company.
