C3.ai Fiscal Q1 Loss Widens, Revenue Falls; Issues Outlook

04:26 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- C3.ai ( AI ) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted loss late Wednesday of $0.37 per diluted share, widening from a loss of $0.05 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.21.

Revenue of the quarter ended July 31 was $70.3 million, down from $87.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $93.8 million.

The company guided for fiscal Q2 revenue of $72 million to $80 million. Analysts expected $99.5 million.

Shares were down over 13% during after-hours trading.
