09:47 AM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- C3.ai ( AI ) said Thursday the US Air Force increased its contract ceiling to $450 million, expanding the company's predictive maintenance program through October 2029.

The Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office added $350 million to the existing agreement, initially set at $100 million, C3.ai ( AI ) said.

The company also said the increase follows full use of the original award, which supported deployment of C3.ai's ( AI ) Predictive Analytics and Decision Assistant, Panda, across multiple aircraft.

The expanded scope will likely allow for a broader use of Panda across aircraft, weapons systems, and ground equipment, C3.ai ( AI ) added.

The company's shares were up more than 26% in recent Thursday trading.
