Calfrac Well Services Swings to Q4 Net Loss

06:57 AM EDT, 03/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Calfrac Well Services ( CFWFF ) on Thursday said it swung to a net loss in the fourth quarter of $6.4 million, or $0.07 per share, compared with a profit of $13.2 million, or $0.15 per share.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a GAAP net loss per share of $0.02.

Revenue fell to $381.2 million from $421.4 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expected revenue of $385.7 million. Adjusted EBITDA also fell to $34.5 million from $62.6 million.

The impact of tariffs on completions activity in the U.S. and Canada is uncertain at this time, the company said, adding that it is exploring alternatives and applicable tariff exemptions for products and parts imported from the U.S. to support its Canadian operations.
