Calibre Mining Releases Initial Mineral Resource for Talavera Gold Deposit, Pours 1 Millionth Ounce of Gold in Nicaragua
Jan 29, 2025 4:11 AM

06:48 AM EST, 01/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Calibre Mining ( CXBMF ) on Wednesday released a maiden mineral resource estimate for its Talavera gold deposit near the Limon mill in Nicaragua.

The mineral resource includes 3.8 million tonnes of inferred mineral resource averaging 5.09 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, yielding 630,000 ounces of gold.

The extension of the historical mine and discovery of several parallel sub vertically dipping veins has led to the delineation of this new resource, the company said.

Calibre also said it has produced its one-millionth ounce of gold in Nicaragua since becoming a producer in the fourth quarter of 2019.
