Calibre Mining Reports Drill Results from New San Jose Discovery at Limon Mine in Nicaragua
Sep 11, 2024 12:42 AM

07:27 AM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Calibre Mining ( CXBMF ) reported Tuesday drill results from its 2024 exploration program within the Limon mine complex in Nicaragua, including the new San Jose discovery located near the Panteon Norte deposit.

Highlights from the San Jose discovery include 13.26 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 4.9 meters, while results from the past-producing Talavera gold zone include 6.38 g/t gold over 10.5 meters.

"We continue to be impressed with Limon's ability to deliver compelling drill results leading to significant discoveries and substantial reserve growth," President and CEO Darren Hall said. "Whether it's a known deposit yielding additional resources outside of the current mine plan, or a new discovery such as San Jose, Limon reserves and resources are anticipated to grow with continued exploration investment."

Calibre's share price closed 1.8% higher yesterday at $2.23 on the TSX.
