California BanCorp Swings to Loss in Q2, Revenue Drops; Shares Fall

01:29 PM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- California BanCorp ( CALB ) reported Monday a Q2 loss of $0.68 per diluted share, compared with earnings of $0.65 per diluted share a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected earnings of $0.53.

Revenue in the quarter ended June 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and other income, fell to $18.3 million from $19.8 million a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $19.5 million.

California BanCorp ( CALB ) shares fell 2% in recent trading Monday.

Price: 23.87, Change: -0.48, Percent Change: -1.97
