Cal-Maine Foods Acquires Van's Foods Brand From Sara Lee Frozen Bakery

08:14 AM EDT, 05/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cal-Maine Foods ( CALM ) said Tuesday it acquired certain assets of the Van's Foods business from Sara Lee Frozen Bakery.

The transaction is projected to increase the buyer's annual prepared foods sales by roughly 10% and volume by about 6%, the company said.

The acquired frozen breakfast business will maintain its current brand identity while using Cal-Maine's distribution network, Cal-Maine Foods ( CALM ) said.
