04:36 PM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cal-Maine Foods ( CALM ) reported fiscal Q4 net income late Tuesday of $7.04 per diluted share, up from $2.32 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $6.27.

Net sales in the three months ended May 31 rose to $1.10 billion from $640.8 million a year earlier.

Two analysts expected $909.4 million.

Cal-Maine reduced its quarterly dividend to $2.35 a share from $3.46. The dividend is payable Aug. 19 to investors of record Aug. 4.

Shares of the company rose 4.5% in after-hours trading.
