Canada Goose Q4 Adjusted Net Income and Revenue Advance, Beating Estimates
May 26, 2025 11:32 AM

07:16 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canada Goose (GOOS.TO) on Wednesday reported higher adjusted fourth-quarter net income and revenue that also beat forecasts.

The luxury outerwear retailer said adjusted net income, which excludes most one-time items, rose to $32 million, or $0.33 per diluted share, from $19.3 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, in the prior year period. The result beat the consensus analysts estimate of $0.23 per share, according to FactSet.

Total revenue increased 7.4% to $384.6 million, above the $355.1 million expected. Direct-to-consumer sales jumped 15.7% to $314.1 million in the same period.

Inventory at the end of the quarter fell 14% to $384 million, which the company said was due to the "optimization of production levels" to better align the supply of product with expected demand.

Canada Goose did not provide a financial outlook for fiscal 2026, citing ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty.

"We saw solid DTC comparable sales growth, fuelled by compelling storytelling, sharp retail execution, and the continued momentum around our Snow Goose capsule," said Dani Reiss, chief executive. "As we close out fiscal 2025, we are making clear strides across our key priorities - enhancing retail execution, elevating our brand and product offering, and delivering it all, efficiently."
