05:05 PM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Pacific Kansas City ( CP ) and CSX (CSX) said late Monday they have introduced a new route option for customers across the southern US with the Southeast Mexico Express.

The new corridor connects customers in Mexico, Texas, and the US southeast, the companies said.

The SMX, officially launched on Dec. 1, 2024, offers faster shipping times and more capacity for automotive, intermodal, and carload freight, they added.
