Canadian Solar Unit Signs Battery Storage Deals in Germany, Canada

07:49 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) said Wednesday that e-STORAGE, a unit of its majority-owned CSI Solar subsidiary, has won deals to provide battery storage projects in Germany and Canada.

In Germany's Lower Saxony, e-STORAGE has signed a battery energy storage system supply agreement for a 20.7 megawatt project as well as a 20-year service agreement, the company said.

The unit has also signed a deal to provide a fully integrated energy storage solution and turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction services for a 411 megawatt project in Ontario.

Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) shares were up 2.1% in recent premarket activity.
