Canadian Utilities Appoints Nancy Southern as Executive Chair and Bob Myles as CEO

07:38 AM EDT, 05/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Utilities ( CDUTF ) on Thursday appointed Nancy Southern as executive chair and Bob Myles as chief executive officer.

Southern was first named CEO of Canadian Utilities ( CDUTF ) in 2000. She continues to serve as the chair and CEO of ATCO Ltd (ACO-X.TO).

Myles previously was appointed president and chief operating officer of Canadian Utilities ( CDUTF ) in January 2025. With 20 years of experience as part of ATCO, he has held senior roles in the natural gas distribution, transmission and midstream companies of ATCO, including serving as president of ATCO Pipelines, ATCO Energy Solutions and ATCO Midstream, and as managing director of ATCO Energy Services.

He was the president and CEO of Tartan Canada and the COO of Stuart Olson Industrial Group where he led operations from 2016 to 2019, before re-joining ATCO. He returned to ATCO in 2020, as executive vice president of corporate development, and held the role until 2023 when he was appointed COO of ATCO EnPower.

The company's Australian division will continue to be led by ATCO Australia CEO and Country Chair John Ivulich.
