07:39 AM EDT, 08/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Utilities ( CDUTF ) on Friday said second quarter adjusted earnings rose to $117 million, or $0.43 per share, from $100 million, or $0.37 per share, in the second quarter of 2023.
Second quarter earnings attributable to equity owners of the company reported in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS earnings) were $62 million ($0.16 per Class A and Class B share) compared to $105 million ($0.32 per Class A and Class B share) in the second quarter of 2023.
On May 8, Canadian Utilities ( CDUTF ) announced its largest ever energy infrastructure project, the Yellowhead Mainline, with a projected investment of over $2 billion.
