08:51 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canterra Minerals ( CTMCF ) reported Wednesday the latest step-out drilling results from the Buchans project in Newfoundland.
Highlights include 7.73% copper equivalent over 4.45 meters and 1.85% copper equivalent over 26.0 meters.
"These drilling results confirm that Buchans has the potential to host a much larger and higher-grade system than previously defined," President and Chief Executive Officer Chris Pennimpede said.
The results indicate high-grade mineralization remains open down plunge to the north, Canterra said.
"Intersecting high-grade copper mineralization with gold mineralization in step-out drilling well outside the existing resource, demonstrates both the strength and continuity of mineralization," Pennimpede added.
Following the results, Canterra said it plans to conduct follow-up drilling to test the continuity and extent of mineralization at the Two Level zone.
The ongoing 8,000-meter drill program at Buchans will also continue to test other high-priority targets across the wider Buchans project, the company added.
Canterra's share price dropped 4.8% on Tuesday to C$0.20 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
