Casella Waste to Acquire Mountain State Waste Assets

08:37 AM EDT, 07/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Casella Waste Systems ( CWST ) said Monday it has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of Mountain State Waste.

The acquired business is projected to generate about $30 million in annual revenue and the transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter, the company added.

The acquisition includes hauling operations and a transfer station, expanding Casella's presence in West Virginia and adjacent markets, it said.
