11:07 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Casey's General Stores (CASY) said Tuesday it completed the $1.15 billion acquisition of CEFCO Convenience Stores' parent company Fikes Wholesale on Nov. 1.

Casey said the deal adds 198 stores across Texas, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi, and increases its store count to about 2,900.

Shares of the company were up 1.3% in recent trading.
