Cassava Sciences Names Richard Barry CEO, Appoints Claude Nicaise as Board Chairman

09:43 AM EDT, 09/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cassava Sciences ( SAVA ) said Monday that it has named Richard Barry as chief executive officer.

Barry has been a director of Cassava since June 2021, and was appointed executive chairman of the company's board of directors as well as principal executive officer in July.

Cassava also said it is separating its chief executive and board chairman positions and named Claude Nicaise chairman. Nicaise has been a director at Cassava since December 2023.
