Cavvy Energy Reaches a One-Year Sulphur Forward Price Deal

01:04 PM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cavvy Energy ( PTOAF ) on Friday said it signed a one-year fixed-price sulphur forward deal from Jan. 1, 2027, with its sulphur marketer.

The agreement fixed the price of 200,000 tonnes of sulphur sales at $525/tonne before transportation and handling deductions, the company added.

The sulphur marketer will also make a $4 million capital contribution to pay for general maintenance and capital expenditures on Cavvy's sulphur processing infrastructure over the term of the agreement.

Cavvy said its 2027 sulphur production of over 200,000 tonnes remains exposed to Vancouver FOB spot pricing less deductions.

Cavvy Energy ( PTOAF ) shares were last seen up C$0.04, or 2.4%, to C$1.71, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
