Cemex Shares Fall Slightly Despite Q1 Earnings, Net Sales Increase

10:03 AM EDT, 04/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cemex (CX) fell in recent Thursday trading even as the company reported a rise in Q1 earnings and revenue.

The company reported Q1 earnings of continued operations of $0.17 per diluted American depositary share, up from $0.15 a year earlier.

A single analyst polled by Capital IQ expected $0.17.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $4.14 billion, up from $4.04 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $4.14 billion.
