10:06 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CenterPoint Energy ( CNP ) said Monday that its CenterPoint Energy Indiana South electric utility is looking for a provider of energy, including renewable sources, for its customers in southwestern Indiana.

CenterPoint Energy Indiana South issued request for proposals Thursday seeking generation technologies that can provide fully accredited capacity by March 1, 2028. It also encouraged respondents to submit proposals that include solar, wind and storage projects, thermal generation, and demand-side resources, the company said.
