ChargePoint Awarded Over $19 Million Funding to Deploy DC Fast Charging Ports at 45 Sites in California

10:30 AM EDT, 09/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ChargePoint Holdings ( CHPT ) said Friday it has received awards of over $19 million from the California Energy Commission and California Department of Transportation to install 248 DC fast charging ports at 45 locations along the state's highways.

Most awarded sites will have the ChargePoint Express Plus DC fast charging platform, the company added.

The awards were given under California's first tranche of National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program funds, the company said.
