05:29 PM EDT, 05/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chimera Investment ( CIM ) said, late on Wednesday, it closed a $65 million public offering of 9% senior notes due 2029.

The company said it applied to list the notes on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "CIMN." It expects trading to begin on May 28.

Following pricing, the notes received an investment grade rating of BBB from Egan-Jones Ratings, the company said.
