BEIJING, May 15 (Reuters) - China listed 99 new energy

vehicle (NEW) models including Zeekr 001 and SAIC-VW's ID.3 in a

government-backed campaign to promote sales in rural areas, the

Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said on

Wednesday.

BYD's best-selling models including the Qin Plus DM-i are

also on the list, according to its statement. The campaign will

run from May until December this year, it said.
