Chipotle Mexican Grill to Open First Restaurants in Asia in JV With SPC Group

06:03 AM EDT, 09/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chipotle Mexican Grill ( CMG ) said late Wednesday it signed a joint venture with South Korean food company SPC Group, with a view to opening the first Chipotle restaurants in South Korea and Singapore in 2026.

The move would mark Chipotle restaurant opening in Asia for the first time, the burritos and taco maker said.

Alsea will open the first Chipotle location in Mexico in 2026, the company said.
