Cintas Offers to Acquire UniFirst for $275 per Share

09:15 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cintas ( CTAS ) said Tuesday it has offered to acquire UniFirst ( UNF ) for $275 per share in cash, implying a total value of about $5.3 billion for UniFirst ( UNF ).

The offer represents a 46% premium relative to UniFirst's ( UNF ) 90-day average price as of Jan. 6, the companies said.

Shares of Cintas ( CTAS ) rose 0.6% and UniFirst ( UNF ) were up 41% in recent premarket activity.
