NEW YORK (Reuters) - Citigroup ( C/PN ) promoted more than 8,500 workers as of January 1 as part of its year-end process, the bank said in a statement on its website on Wednesday.

"This is in addition to the nearly 23,000 Citi colleagues who were promoted throughout 2024 as they took on new roles to grow their careers and drive Citi's future success," the company wrote.
