Citigroup, United Airlines CEOs Reportedly Set to Meet Biden

02:46 PM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- US President Joe Biden plans to meet on Tuesday the heads of Citigroup ( C ) , United Airlines Holdings (UAL) and other companies across the manufacturing, banking, clean energy and construction sectors to discuss the state of the economy, according to media reports Tuesday, citing a White House official.

The attendees include Citigroup ( C ) Chief Executive Jane Fraser, United CEO Scott Kirby and Marriott International ( MAR ) CEO Anthony Capuano, the official said, Bloomberg reported.

Citigroup ( C ) confirmed Fraser's participation in the meeting in an email to MT Newswires but declined to comment further. United also declined to comment to MT Newswires.

The White House and Marriott ( MAR ) did not immediately respond to requests for comment by MT Newswires.
