01:57 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ) said Wednesday it has started construction on a facility for producing renewable natural gas at South Fork Dairy in Dimmitt, Texas.

The project cost is estimated to be around $85 million, and it's anticipated to be finished by 2025, the company said.

The facility is expected to produce 2.6 million gallons of renewable natural gas each year upon completion, according to the company.

Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ) shares were down 0.4% in recent trading.
