07:28 AM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ) and dairy digester developer Maas Energy Works said Tuesday that they have agreed to jointly develop nine renewable natural gas production facilities estimated to cost a total of about $130 million.
The nine projects, which will be financed by Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ), will be located at dairy farms in Colorado, South Dakota, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, and New Mexico, according to the companies.
Each project is subject to diligence before construction and all nine sites are expected to be completed in 2026 to produce up to 4 million gallons of ultra-clean renewable natural gas per year for Clean Energy's RNG stations, the companies added.
