10:07 AM EDT, 08/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Clean Energy Fuels ( CLNE ) said Monday that its new renewable natural gas facility at Ash Grove Dairy in Lake Benton, Minnesota, is now operational.

The facility is producing pipeline-quality renewable natural gas and is expected to supply up to 480,000 gasoline gallon equivalents annually for Clean Energy's commercial transportation fleet, according to the company statement.

The project has completed required gas testing and is now producing ready-to-use renewable natural gas, Clean Energy said.

Clean Energy shares were 5% lower in recent trading.
