10:33 AM EST, 12/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Clear Secure ( YOU ) said Tuesday it has entered into a contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to modernize identity verification for Medicare beneficiaries and providers on the Medicare website.

The company said that starting in early 2026, Medicare.gov will integrate its secure identity platform, CLEAR1, to streamline account creation, account recovery, and access to healthcare information.

The platform has been designed to reduce identity fraud in healthcare, the company said, adding that once implemented, beneficiaries may be able to verify their identity with a simple selfie.

Shares of Clear Secure ( YOU ) rose more than 8% in recent trading activity Tuesday.
