March 14 (Reuters) - Cleveland-Cliffs Inc ( CLF ) would

consider another bid for United States Steel ( X ), provided it

has union backing, but it would be significantly lower than

Nippon Steel's ( NISTF ) current offer, Bloomberg News reported

on Thursday.

US Steel and Cleveland-Cliffs ( CLF ) did not immediately respond to

Reuters' requests for comments.
