Coherent Fiscal Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise; Sets Fiscal Q3 Outlook -- Shares Jump

04:41 PM EST, 02/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Coherent (COHR) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Wednesday of $0.95 per diluted share, up from $0.27 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.69.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $1.44 billion, up from $1.13 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.37 billion.

For fiscal Q3, the company expects non-GAAP earnings per share to be between $0.75 and $0.95. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $0.76.

The company expects revenue for the quarter to be between $1.39 billion and $1.48 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.40 billion.

Shares of the company jumped 9.4% in recent after-hours activity.
