02:04 PM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Compass (COMP) said Monday that it has added Parks Real Estate, a residential real estate firm in Tennessee, to strengthen its presence in the southeast.

The company said Parks has over 1,500 agents and together with Compass agents, they now account for one of four homes sold in Tennessee. Financial details weren't disclosed.

Compass said it also recently acquired Latter & Blum in the Gulf South and recruited agents Mario Greco in Chicago as well as Mollie Poe and Declan Hickey in San Francisco.

Shares of Compass were up nearly 6% in recent Monday trading.
