March 26 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Tuesday:
** Belgian retailer Colruyt said it would sell
about 30% of its stake in energy company Virya Energy to Korys,
the investment arm of the Colruyt family.
** Kremlin-controlled energy giant Gazprom has
acquired a 27.5% stake, formerly owned by Shell, in
Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer Sakhalin Energy for
around $1 billion, according to a government order.
** Denver state judge said on Monday that he will hear
arguments beginning on Aug. 12 in Colorado's case seeking to
block Kroger's ( KR ) $25 billion purchase of rival grocer
Albertsons ( ACI ).
** Adam Neumann has submitted a bid of more than $500
million to buy back WeWork, the office-sharing company he
co-founded and propelled to a $47 billion valuation before it
fell into bankruptcy, a person familiar with the matter told
Reuters.
** India's largest private port operator Adani Ports and
Special Economic Zone said it will buy a 95% stake in
Odisha's Gopalpur Port for an equity value of 13.49 billion
rupees ($161.74 million) to bolster its east coast presence.
** Investment firm MNC Capital said on Monday it has raised
its all-cash bid to acquire Vista Outdoor ( VSTO ) to $3 billion
from $2.90 billion.
