Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.75.
Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 was $2.42 billion, up from $2.38 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.38 billion.
The company expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $2.80 to $2.91 on revenue of $2.45 billion to $2.47 billion. Analysts expected EPS of $2.90 on revenue of $2.39 billion.
For fiscal 2025, it now expects adjusted EPS $11.53 to $11.76 on revenue of $9.72 billion to $9.82 billion.
Its previous forecast was for adjusted EPS of $11.18 to $11.77 on revenue of $9.49 billion to $9.64 billion. Analysts expected $11.53 on revenue of $9.61 billion.
The company kept its quarterly dividend at $0.33275 per share, payable August 5 to holders of record July 25.
Shares were down over 5% during after-hours trading.
